Redwoods are big . . . . REALLY BIG!! On July 9-11, we toured through the Redwood forests of the northern California coast. We were actually able to drive through the middle of one of these huge trees.
Look at this HUGE root structure that makes Benjamin look tiny.
Jerry found our prettiest campground so far along the Avenue of the Giants. After over two weeks on the road, our little trailer has definitely become home. Don't those chocolate chip pancakes look yummy?
We spent the afternoon playing on the Eel River. The kids waded in the cold water while Penny and Jerry relaxed and practiced skipping stones across the sand bar.
